Audio Engineer and Saxophonist
Aaron Bartel is an audio engineer and saxophonist based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba. With over a decade of professional experience in the music industry, including two Western Canadian Music Awards and over 300 shows internationally with instrumental funk heavyweights Apollo Suns, Aaron has captured the ears of hundreds of thousands of listeners. As a freelance audio engineer working primarily out of Paintbox Recording, he has recorded and/or mixed established local fixtures such as Jeremie and the Delicious Hounds and Colour By Numbers. Offering all of the ear training and musical knowledge of a jazz performance degree, the life experience of years of road dog touring, the technical knowledge of a commercial studio internship, and none of the jaded skepticism that comes with old age, Aaron is always a good hang and constantly useful.
